National Relief Network

The National Relief Network works to bring volunteers to disaster areas in order to help families clean up debris and rebuild their homes and communities. Teens who have been on disaster relief projects describe the work as life-changing and well worth the investment.
Especially with the Hurricane Ike disaster in Galveston, Texas, we’ll be needing help more than ever.

  1. Good idea. I've been down to Mississippi 4 times to help out with the Katrina Disaster. So I can imagine how much help Texas and other states need. And it is like teens say, the work is life changing. You'll meet cool people too. If you'd like to see what I worked on in october of 07 visit

  2. We've been trying to get invloved with a program at our church that gives meals people who fled Ike.
It wounds fun to me, I like the idea of being able to help people in need. I can't imagine haveing to flee and leave just about everything behind.

  3. Yeah. I'd love to help someone like that.

I can imagine that the animal shelters are packed right now, due to this disaster, so I want to see what I can do about that.
